Steve Biegner - Prodigal Son
CD Release Party!!! ”As the Orchestra Swells (the lights go out)”
Easthampton native, Steve Biegner, has been making music since he was 12 years old. Steve played with the popular local group Smokejumpers for two years at such venues as Harry's, The Space, Fire and Water, and the Iron Horse. While playing shows with Smokejumpers, Steve recorded a new solo album called "Manic Blue." His original songs are reminiscent of such artists as Jeff Buckley, Nick Drake, Radiohead, and Duncan Sheik, but have a sound all of their own. As a solo performer, Steve has played at PACE, the Thirsty Mind, and the Iron Horse with the Nields. Steve has just finished recording his second solo CD with producer David Chalfant (The Nields), ”As the Orchestra Swells (the lights go out)”, which will be sold at this show! Tonight's show also includes a Smokejumpers reunion!
